The above delivery times are estimated from Royal Mail and are not guaranteed. Please contact us if you believe your parcel has been delayed.

1. Dispatch

We aim to dispatch all orders within 2 working days of purchase, with the exception of pre-order items (see pre order section). However we do try to dispatch all items within the same working day or if not the next working day. All items are only dispatched in normal working hours : 0900-1700 on working days : Monday - Friday, in customer purchase order.

All items are dispatched from the UK. If located outside of the UK the customer will be responsible for the payment of their local fees/duties if they are incurred.

2. Pre Orders

Any in stock items purchased with preorder items will be sent upon the last preorder item coming into stock. Please make any purchases for in stock items separately to preorder items if wishing to receive within our in stock dispatch time.

If you wish to split your order after ordering; please feel free to contact us and we can work this out for you. 

3. International Orders

We offer international shipping to over 30 Countries. Orders are dispatched within 1-2 business days and Delivery times from 4-10 Business Days. Please contact us for more details. Please note, Japan2UK customers are responsible for any customs charges or import duties payable on receipt of international deliveries. If a delivery is refused by the consumer or returned due to non-payment of any charges or duties, or the provision of an incorrect address, any charges incurred by Japan2UK in shipping and recovering the package may, at our discretion, be deducted from any refund later given for the order.

All postage costs (not including import charges) for international customers can be seen at checkout when inputting your delivery address.

4. Wrong Address

It is the responsibility of the customer to make sure that the shipping address entered is correctly. We do our best to speed up processing and shipping time, so there is always a small window to correct an incorrect shipping address. Please contact us immediately if you believe you have provided an incorrect shipping address. 

Orders that are returned to us as undeliverable because of incorrect shipping information may be subject to a restocking / return postage fee and re-delivery postage will have paid again before dispatch. This will be at our discretion.

You are solely responsible for the information you input into the delivery address, hence why we won't be able to compensate for any errors on behalf of customer error.

5. Lost/Stolen & Damaged Packages

Japan2UK is not responsible for lost or stolen packages. If your tracking information states that your package was delivered to your address and you have not received it, please report to the local authorities. If your parcel is lost due to an error by the postage company :

Please fill out this 'Declaration of non-receipt' form provided by Royal mail. Without this form filled in we cannot open an investigation/claim with Royal Mail for your package. Once completed please contact us and we can input a claim to them. This will be at our discretion. 

Items purchased on tracked 48 & tracked 24 postage methods are only covered up to £150 if lost, stolen or damaged. This is due to Royal Mail only paying up to this figure in compensation in that event. We recommend all customers wanting to cover their packages up to a higher value to please select special delivery as their postage method. This then will be automatically covered up to £750 and can be requested to be covered at a higher rate at the customers request and cost.

In the unfortunate event of a missing, stolen or damaged parcel we can raise a claim process on your behalf with Royal Mail; if there is enough evidence for us to do so. This will also be at our sole discretion. This process can take up to 20 working days to conclude and we will only be able to update you when the claim concludes.
